ABOUT THE ORG
Founded in 2015, Mobbera Foundation is a volunteer-led non-profit organisation based in Hyderabad, India, working to uphold the rights and dignity of LGBTQ+ individuals, people living with HIV (PLHIV), sex workers, gender and sexual minorities, and other underserved communities. Since its inception, Mobbera has led over 300 events and 30+ major community initiatives, driving impact through a combination of arts, advocacy, education, and direct support services. Mobbera’s work spans a wide spectrum, from school and college sensitisation sessions to corporate inclusion programs, public awareness campaigns, and community festivals.

Through initiatives like Project Upadhi, Buddy Up, AICQM, Mehfil-E-Queer Mobbera promote inclusive employment and workplace sensitisation, support mental health and well-being, provide free counselling, workshops and creatively engage the public, celebrate queer culture, and provide a platform for marginalised voices.
The Mobbera Foundation's Queer Fiesta is an annual LGBTQIA+ celebration in Hyderabad, India, featuring advancement of livelihood, educational programs or skill development and activists for a day of cultural celebration, empowerment, and joyful resistance.
